Our local agencies provide a variety of services in our surrounding communities. Food Pantries; Housing and Homeless Services and Soup Kitchens

Beyond Hunger

Helping 400 families a month in the Oak Park, IL area They can get each month a 70+ pound supply of nutrient-dense, protein-rich food including bread, meat, eggs, fresh produce, and quality canned and boxed foods.

The pantry serves approximately 150 residents per month in  Melrose Park, Bellwood, Maywood and Elmwood Park.

Housing Forward

Our mission is to transition people from housing crisis to housing stability. We offer a full range of programs and services. The critical work of ending homelessness requires partnerships, interdisciplinary services, community and stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector initiatives that result in collective impact.

Proviso Food Pantry

CROP funds help with the purchase and pick-up of food and other supplies for registered families coming from the entire Proviso township. (Over 100 per week)

Vision of Restoration Food Pantry

Uses the CROP funds for the purchase and distribution of food on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Learning Edge

Learning Edge (formerly Cluster Tutoring) is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides free one-to-one tutoring to more than 100 students in grades K through 12 who primarily come from the Austin neighborhood on Chicago’s West Side.  The program was founded in 1990.

Forest Park Food Pantry

This pantry is supported 100% by free-will donations and the CROP Walk. It supplies food monthly to low income Forest Park residents, as well as special holiday food baskets.

Pine Avenue United Church Emergency Food

Pine Ave Food Pantry

Serves an area in Austin where no other food pantry is available. Working with an all-volunteer staff of 10, they are open on Tuesday mornings. They supply food for 25-35 households each week

CROP funds help with the purchase of foods. Hours of service: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursdays
